Why Olive & Smoke
Chef Marco Vitale grew up in his grandmother's kitchen in Bologna. After 15 years cooking in Italy and Chicago, he came to Lawton in 2017 to build the kind of restaurant he'd want to eat at every Sunday.
That means: a wood-fired oven hand-built by an Italian mason. Hand-cut pasta every morning. Tomatoes from the garden out back. And the kind of warm welcome that has guests coming back twice a month for 9 years running.
